The National Federation of the "Cavalieri del Lavoro" founded the "Lamaro-Pozzani" College in 1971. The Federation continues to support the College through the generous support of its members, that allows the College to provide high level, outstanding graduate education to a pool of 15 new, highly qualified students every year.
The College, located in Rome, was designed to educate young women and men bearing the potential to reach outstanding career achievements virtually in any sector of the economy and the academia.
Students are admitted to the College upon the successful completion of one week-long tests, that awards them a multi-year scholarship. Each of the approximately 70 scholars of the College is provided, free of charge, with accommodation and canteen services and required to attend courses in foreign languages, law, economy and computer in addition to their university classes. Our scholars also participate in talks given by some of the most prominent Italian businesswomen, businessmen, politicians and journalists at the facilities of the College. Every year, they are given the opportunity to participate in a study trip abroad. On a regular basis, the College also organizes study groups, seminars and research projects whose findings and outcomes are published in a series edited by one of the leading Italian publishing houses.
